About Maranacook Arts
A creative experience can become a life skill.
We are a youth-development arts organization for children and young teens ages 8–16. Our programs make space for young people to plan, create, collaborate, and build the work that happens behind the scenes.
The work behind the work matters.
At Maranacook Arts, costume design is a lesson in detail. A set plan is a lesson in preparation and problem-solving. A music arrangement is a lesson in listening and collaboration. We connect creative work to the skills young people need for school, future work, relationships, and life.
There is room for every kind of maker here—from the person who sketches costumes to the person who builds sets, shapes sound, edits footage, or writes. Each role can open a door to new skills and future possibilities.
